Be ready for the unplanned needs during the service

A service list holds all lyrics and texts scheduled for the service. But, there is also several items that wasn't scheduled, but do happens. Some churches, for instance, use datashow to notify a mom that her baby is crying on the nursery; but they don't plan which are the babies that are going to cry on the next service.

In situations like this, it's important that the datashow operator handle this kind of event easily and quickly. Datasoul has a feature named alerts for this sort of announcements. You can define templates to be used in these circumstances and then just enter the text to be used and the time length of exhibition. Datasoul automatically formats the text, display it, wait the specified amount of time and then vanish it.

The templates used for alerts can be designed to be as non-disrupting as you want. You can use, for example, just a limited area on the bottom of the screen or make it translucent; to be able to show it at the same time than the scheduled service item.

Another uncomfortable situation for datasoul operators happens when the music leader just start singing a song that was not in the service list. He suddenly felt inspired to sing that song and simply started singing. Now, the operator needs to find as quickly as possible the lyrics to show it.

For these occasions, Datasoul can perform fast searches in the full lyrics to find the music. With just a few clicks the song is found and shown.

Several churches use video cameras to record or transmit live images form the service. Datasoul can integrate in these systems and provide an effective solution for displaying lyrics. Learn how.
