Be ready for the unplanned needs during the service

A service list holds all lyrics and texts scheduled for the service. But, there is also several items that wasn't scheduled, but do happens. Some churches, for instance, use datashow to notify a mom that her baby is crying on the nursery; but they don't plan which are the babies that are going to cry on the next service.

This is a typical usage scenario for Datasoul. It's how it is used in the church that supported and guided the development, Prado's Baptist Church, in Curitiba, Brazil.

During the week, the songs that will play in the Sunday's service are chosen and the musicians are informed. They can rehearsal at home during the week before meet for a group rehearsal.

Get ready quickly for the service

If you have been in charge of datashow services in your church for some time, you probably already faced something like this.

You have slides ready for most musics your church sang, everything nicely formatted with the church's logo and a fancy background. A nice day your pastor want to change the church's logo. Or change the font color. Or use a different formatting for a special service. Or add the song composer in the bottom. Or simply got bored of the sam…

There is also a tool available that import all your songs from EasyWorship to Datasoul.

You need to have both EasyWorship and Datasoul installed on the same computer. If you are willing to move to another platform (such as Linux or Mac), you have to first install Datasoul on the Windows machine, perform the import and then copy the Datasoul files to the new platform.

Integration with Live Video System

This is another usage scenario for Datasoul. It's a medium to large size church. The photos were taken in First Baptist Church of Curitiba, in Brazil.

Here, a projector shows to the congregation live video from the service with two lines of the lyrics overlayed in the video. This same image is also recorded for producing service's DVDs, broadcasted over the internet and shown in TVs in the nursery, allowing mommys to follow the service while caring or feed…
